To the clients of the Canadian Hepatitis C Information Centre:

We regret to inform you that the Canadian Hepatitis C Information Centre (CHCIC), a program of the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA), has been asked by the Hepatitis C Prevention, Support and Research Program of the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to cease operations while the Program re-assesses its long-term knowledge development and exchange needs.

Effective immediately, all services have been terminated

CPHA, in collaboration with the Hepatitis C Prevention, Support and Research Program of PHAC, advises you of the following alternatives for accessing hepatitis C education materials:

• you can access the following PHAC website which provides general hepatitis C virus information, www.publichealth.gc.ca/hepatitisc, and/or
• you can write to PHAC_Web_Mail@phac-aspc.gc.ca for specific information.

All of the CPHA staff at the Information Centre would like to thank our many clients, producers of materials and suppliers for their interest and commitment to our work as a part of the hepatitis C community. It has been a pleasure serving you, and we hope to be able to do so again in the future.

Nous regrettons de vous informer qu’à la demande du Programme de prévention, de soutien et de recherche concernant l’hépatite C de l’Agence de santé publique du Canada (ASPC), le Centre canadien d’information sur l’hépatite C (CCIHC) mis en place par l’Association canadienne de santé publique (ACSP) cessera ses activités pendant que le Programme réévalue ses besoins à long terme en matière d’acquisition et d’échange de connaissances.

À compter d’aujourd’hui, le Centre met fin à tous ses services.

L’ACSP, en collaboration avec le Programme de prévention, de soutien et de recherche concernant l’hépatite C, vous informe des autres moyens possibles de vous procurer des documents d’information sur l’hépatite C :

• Vous trouverez des renseignements généraux sur le virus de l’hépatite C sur le site Web suivant de l’Agence de santé publique du Canada : www.santepublique.gc.ca/hepatitec;
• Pour obtenir des renseignements plus précis, vous pouvez écrire à l’adresse courriel suivante : PHAC_Web_Mail@phac-aspc.gc.ca.

Le personnel du Centre d’information à l’ACSP tient à remercier ses nombreux clients, fournisseurs et réalisateurs de documents pour leur intérêt et pour l’importance qu’ils accordent à son travail dans la communauté de l’hépatite C.
